Kidney & Bladder Cancer treatment in Jaipur
Partial and radical nephrectomy for kidney tumours and radical cystectomy with urinary reconstruction for bladder cancer.
About kidney & bladder cancer
Kidney cancer is often detected incidentally on an ultrasound done for another reason, which means many tumours are now found small and curable. Bladder cancer typically presents with painless blood in the urine and is strongly associated with smoking.
Dr. Ledwani offers kidney-sparing partial nephrectomy for suitable tumours, radical nephrectomy for larger ones, and radical cystectomy with reconstruction of the urinary passage for muscle-invasive bladder cancer.

Frequently asked questions
Can I live a normal life with one kidney?
Yes. A single healthy kidney is sufficient for a normal life. Partial nephrectomy is still preferred wherever possible to protect long-term kidney function.
Will I need a urine bag after bladder removal?
Not always. Many patients are suitable for a neobladder, a new bladder made from intestine that allows near-normal urination.
Does bladder cancer come back?
Superficial bladder cancer has a high tendency to recur, so regular cystoscopy follow-up is essential.
