Ovarian Cancer treatment in Jaipur
Cytoreductive (debulking) surgery for ovarian cancer and staging surgery for uterine (endometrial) cancer.
About ovarian cancer
Ovarian cancer is often called a silent cancer because early symptoms, such as bloating, early fullness and pelvic discomfort, are vague and easily dismissed. Uterine (endometrial) cancer, by contrast, usually announces itself early through abnormal bleeding and is highly curable.
Surgery is central to both. Dr. Ledwani performs complete cytoreductive surgery for ovarian cancer, where removing all visible disease is the single most important factor for survival, and laparoscopic staging surgery for endometrial cancer.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the extent of surgery so important in ovarian cancer?
Survival is directly linked to how completely the tumour is removed. Surgery by a trained gynaecological oncosurgeon who can achieve no visible residual disease makes a measurable difference.
Is uterine cancer curable?
Yes. Most uterine cancers are found at an early stage because of bleeding, and surgery alone cures the majority.
Should my family be tested?
If a BRCA or Lynch mutation is found, first-degree relatives are offered genetic counselling and testing.
